There is a very good Blog post written by Elad Gil entitled Why Has Israel Succeeded At COVID Vaccination which goes into great detail on why the Israeli’s have been more successful than other countries in rapidly getting people vaccinated.

Some of the key points he makes are:

• They simplified the process, prioritizing based on age, which made it easier to know who was up.
• They vaccinated all the people in a healthcare facility versus some sub prioritization as done in the US.
• They focused on those most likely to die.
• They created as many vaccination sites as possible.

and there is much more.

He also debunks many of the naysayers who are pointing to the small country with 9 million people, it must be the military doing this and others.

His post is definitely worth a read and provides many useful ideas we should incorporate.
